Welcome

During my over 30 years in education I have been blessed with experiences ranging from elementary school teacher adjacent to an Indian Reservation to working with teachers and administrators from urban America to Zambia.  I have been able to write and present speeches on education, economic education and leadership nationally and internationally.

I have been blessed to have had such a broad range of experiences.  Now I want to share my experience, and experiences, with you.  The development of this website is one way for that to happen.  Through this website I am making my self available to you as a consultant, speaker, writer, and friend through this journey of life and lifelong education.

Because of the impact my Zambian experiences has had on me and my life, I have chosen this African backdrop.  As the site develops, however, there will be much more than my Zambian experience.  I will include several of my writings on economics and education, weblinks for you to access information on economics, education, and Africa, and information on how to contact me for consultations and speaking engagements, and much more.

The primary link is to the organization of my professional heritage; the Michigan Council on Economic Education (MCEE).  Serving as president of MCEE has been the fulfillment of a dream.  Little was I to know in 1979 when I first started in economic education as a volunteer at Central Michigan University while teaching in Mt. Pleasant did I realize I would someday lead the state in the field of economic education.  It has been an honor and humbling experience.

I hope as this website develops there will be something of value for you as you pursue your lifelong learning experience.  God Bless
David
